Heal as quickly and comfortably as possible thanks to our evidence-based approach to wound care and advanced technology. Although you can make an appointment with us without seeing another doctor first, most patients are referred to us by a physician. When you are treated at the Englewood Health Wound Healing Center, we work closely with your referring doctor. We provide updates on your progress and discuss treatment options and your plan of care with your doctor.
Your treatment will include self-care education and a range of services from other specialists. Your wound care specialist may recommend:
- Limb salvage
- Medicated wound-healing creams
- Minimally invasive vascular surgery
- Orthotic or prosthetic services
- Pain management
- Physical or occupational therapy
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery, if needed
- Specialized dressings (bandages)
- Other advanced therapies, including assessment for referral to hyperbaric oxygen therapy
