About Alina Kifayat

Dr. Kifayat specializes in rheumatology. Her clinical interests include arthritis (rheumatoid, osteoarthritis, and psoriatic), lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren’s Syndrome, myositis, vasculitis, Stills Disease (adult-onset), and connective tissue disease. Dr. Kifayat received her MD from the Khyber Medical College, in Peshawar, Pakistan. She did an internal medicine residency, and was chief resident, followed by a rheumatology fellowship, and was chief fellow, at Westchester Medical Center (New York Medical College), in Valhalla, NY. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. In addition to English, Dr. Kifayat is fluent in Pashto and Urdu.
