Our Approach to Bariatric Surgery

Bariatric surgeon and female patient

From your very first appointment, we take time to understand your lifestyle, expectations, and goals as we also evaluate your health. We’ll discuss your options and answer your questions.

Our bariatric surgery program is accredited by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. That means our surgeons have extensive experience in minimally invasive bariatric surgery, including sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.

It also means our facilities and equipment meet rigorous standards for bariatric care. In other words, you will be well cared for and comfortable.

Because we believe informed, engaged patients are generally more successful patients, we emphasize education and support. Together, we’ll design a treatment plan that works for you.

We assign each of our surgical patients a care coordinator who is available by phone every step of the way. Your care coordinator can facilitate referrals, connect you with support groups, and answer any questions that arise.
