It is a great privilege for me to be a physician. In my specialty of maternal-fetal medicine I have the opportunity of helping women with a high-risk pregnancy achieve the goal of having a familysomething many of us take for granted. This also allows me to collaborate with other health professionals to afford patients the best of care. I also am involved in clinical research which I find stimulating as it helps advance obstetrical care that we all provide.
