About Ami Vaidya
Dr. Vaidya is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. Her clinical interests include chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and other pulmonary pathologies and procedures. Dr. Vaidya received her MD from Ross University School of Medicine, in Dominica, West Indies. She did an internal medicine residency, followed by a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship, at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. In addition to English, Dr. Vaidya is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi and conversational in Urdu.
