Radiofrequency Ablation

This minimally invasive procedure may be an option for you if you experience chronic pain in your lower back, neck, or joints. During a radiofrequency ablation, you’re given local anesthetic or mild sedation. We use a needle first to deliver numbing medication and then destroy nerve fibers that carry pain signals to the brain. A radiofrequency ablation is typically done as an outpatient procedure.
