Mitral Valve Clip
We use mitral clips to correct a mitral valve that leaks blood back into one of your heart’s chambers as it pumps. With this technique, we insert a thin tube (or catheter) into a vein in your upper leg, then thread it through your body to reach your heart, where we place a small clip on your valve to help it close tightly.
